i was wondering how to do a roll on wheelie on a '03 ZX6R in 2nd gear?? I roll along at about 7-7500 rpm then crack it on but it only comes a couple inches it feels like?
Any help would be appreciated??

There really isn't any formula for roll on wheelies. They mean just that, that the bike wheelies under power (w.o.t.)... Mine lifts under power (full on throttle) in first and second no problems and I'm a fairly big guy (6'1" 215)... and the only power part I've added is an Akrapovic exhaust...

At the same time my right hand does this violent twisting motion[}:)]

I can't help it, especially in second gear....I dunno

I think....no it can't be [:0]

For the guys that say your 03 6r will roll on wheelie in second what elevation are you at? I can roll first but only get some like 3 inch wheelies in second. But Ive been riding at 5000ft elevation and way 215. I havent ridden this bike in any lower eleveations yet but i have ridden my dads hayabusa from here to the coast down to practically 0ft and notice quite a difference in power. I just wonder if its enough to help pull it up more in second, not that it really matters id just like to think it would be able to do it.

I think elevation makes a difference. It should give you a noticable difference in power at low end, and probably a few mph at top. Obviously the more air you have, the better the burn. Fuel injection is supposed to releive some of the heartache with that if I understand correctly, but not sure. I will find out when I get mine closer to sea level. When I ride, it is anywhere between 4000 to 12000 feet in elevation.

I live 20 minutes from the beach, so basically 0 elevation. In 1st, just rolling on, it comes up easily. I use the clutch for second (might not have to, still finding the sweet spots). But the other night on the highway, at 65 mpg(3rd gear), I let off the throttle, then got back on it while tugging, and it came up 6 to 8". Not much, but I am thinking that with a little clutch work, I should be able to stand it up!
