Anyone have a tip on how to remove rust spots from the fork tubes? :(

And how to prevent them from poping up in the first place?

Thanks.

well i dont know how your fork tubes rusted since they are chrome plated but a little wd-40 and scotch pad should do the trick to get off the surface rust, try putting a light coat of oil on them to prevent rusting cant hurt any!

We have high humidity here... and, yes, :-(, i didnt ride it for a month now... [B)]

Thanks about the WD40 tip, im afraid not to scratch the forks, i'll give it a gentle touch, i'll see where it takes me.

...Umm, rust does form on chrome when neglected. Check out any junkyards "classic" car's chrome before it's restored...
