How does sales tax work? Is it the whole finance amount or the price of the bike only? Anyone know the % either? thanks

it's whatever is the taxable amount - bike, gear, services rendered - sales tax is the amount in your county or state... in cali it's 8.25%

At least a few hundered bucks for sales tax on a new bike.. 8.25% on 8000$ would be around 650$ or so? Just to give you an idea.

yeah i guess im looking around 500 or so. one more question, i'm new at this refinancing thing. How long do i have to wait to try to refinance my loan. i picked it up through the dealerships bank, but i have a loan for my car and was thinking of trying to switch to them. I think i could get a better rate then 11% and it would be easier to pay two at once.
