Hey all, new guy here.

I've been riding for a few years and have a 2004 Triumph Daytona 600. It's a fantastic bike, and I hate to sell it... but I'm purchasing a 2011 zx6R tomorrow morning. I'm pretty excited about it and all. I'll be lurking a bit on the forums here and looking around for reviews on upgrades. First on my list are stainless brake lines and a fender eliminator.

Anyway. Hi.

tl;dr - New guy, new bike; hi.

A triumph 600 eh? I'm a bit curious as to why you had to let her go.

I can't afford two bikes, really. The insurance in California makes me sad.

I've got my gear still. I need a new pair of gauntlets for this season - my Astars are pretty worn out. Looking at some Dainese full metal pros.

Eh, not the biggest fan of Dainese. IMO there stuff is good but way overpriced. You're really paying for the name when you buy Dainese.

I'm 6'0, 210. Their gear just fit me better than the other brands that I tried on (jacket and leathers). I initially went in to get an Astars set, but found that the fit was a bit off for my frame. I suppose it's just preference. I'd try just about any brand so long as it works.

Got it yesterday from NC HoM. Loving it so far. Lurking the forums now for fender eliminator pics.
