There's a guy that sells covers on ebay for like $20. Excellent quality and fairly easy to install. Not sure if he makes them for pre-'98 6Rs. Here's a partial picture of mine:

they arent a hassle to fit, but you will need a staple gun. take your time and it will look real tight and smooth. ill have a pic up soon.

That's the same cover I am using, very happy with it, can't beat $20 either. There is a pic on my website if you wanna check it out.

Send me a PM and I'll give you his email...I don;t want to spread it around on him. That's actually some old pics of my bike I sent him a long time ago, I should give him some new ones LOL...

Yeah, buddy (John) didn't have any pics of the seat covers installed on a 6R, so I told him I'd send some when I bought them form him on ebay. I posted those on here WAAAAAAY back in the day (on this site) when I first got them. if you look where the frame curves (where the subframe attaches) you shoudl notice the name of the dealer that I bought it from...or even the handgrips & windscreen. It was before I had the flushmounts onstalled though. Damn messy garage too LOL.

The last pic I posted is from a ride last Friday, so you can hopefully tell they've held up well.
