Is there a way to adjust the angle or height of the shift lever? I have an '02. I just got new boots and they're a little thicker than my old ones.

You can lengthen or shorten the rod that connectes the lever to the shaft coming out of the engine case. This moves the lever up or down. There is a jam nut on the heim joint at each end. Loosen them. One is right hand and the other is left hand. Then turn the rod to make it longer or shorter.
