I never have tried it that way and honestly it doesn't sound like a mechanically good way to execute a wheelie. More steps than need. Just stay in first up to about 8 grand cut the throotle and right back on while maintaining you body position (don't moce)!

Hey guys. i have a few guys i ride with that get going in 2nd gear and shift into 1st and smack it to pull up a wheelie. i was wondering if that could cause any damage to any thing?[?]
