For a couple years now iv always wanted a sportsbike i ask my parents of course and they never say theyll get me one or allow me to(im 16) They agreed that theyll get me a sportsbike once i have 2 years of behind the wheel driving experience which i can live with. But they just recently allowed me to get a dirt bike but under $800. I checked my local newspaper the other day and found a kx250 '84 for 550. I checked the bike out today and it ran great. the owner just went up and down the block with it to show that it is running because i was afraid i was gonna drop it if i tried. The condition of the bike was pretty good as in terms of mechanical stuff. Im wondering is buying a used bike worth it? or should i buy something a little more new? Thanks!
