About a year ago I wrote that I was going to put a sidecar on an 07 kaw Vulcan nomad. Well I cant’t find it anyplace on here so here goes again.
I’m 80 years old in December this year and my legs aren’t as strong as they need to be for this size bike. Six hundred pounds plus?
I put 120 lbs of sand bags behind the seat for when I ride alone. When my wife is in it (after a knee replacement) it really handles nicely.
I was warned about the sail effect and at more normal and sane speeds the effect is hardly there.
My wife really enjoys the ride and I enjoy not having to hold the darn thing up at stop signs!!
If I can figure it out I’ll past some pics.

I’m in Chico Calif. About 100 miles north of Sacramento.
When I got the sidecar finished I modified a car dolly so that I can tow the thing behind the Motorhome to take south, ( yuma) ,in the winter months.
