Hey, was wondering if anyone has removed pieces of the stock 250r mufflers to make their bikes louder or knows anything about it.

I know I will be upgrading to a bigger bike next year, so i wasn't going to spend money on a after market exhaust, however I have noticed the 250's are so quite that it is almost unsafe at times so was looking to see if there was a quick fix or any good advise thanks.

Its a 2008 ninja 250r (newer model)
was fallowing a fiend yesterday and they were in a convertible and they said they really couldn't even hear me at all, i was a bit shocked.

I have seen a few bikes on the net that have cut their stock bike down into a shorty exhaust. Here is a link.

I know its not even a Kawi, but you get the idea. It will give you a different and louder sound. Hope it helps.
