Slip On exhaust for 96 zx6r

I have been shopping around for a slip on for my 96 zx6r. So far I found some good deals on Two Brothers, Scorpion, Micron, Wiley co, And Art. Not sure which one to go with. I want a deep sound to it. Not sure as far as installation, I read that Two Brothers require some cutting of the stock pipe to remove the filter. Is that required of all of them and what would happen if I installed the slip on without cutting that part off? Thanks for your help guys.

I have a '95 ZX-6R. I recently had my header/collector Jet-Hot coated so I had it off. Jest inside the collector is a perforated metal baffle that is shaped like a cone. I think this is what they are talking about. It is probably just spot welded in place. I would guess that the only difference it would make is sound. I still have the stock can because I am looking for a quiet ride (and also one that doesn't draw the attention of the cops). My wife still claims to be able to hear it half way across town when I rap it up.
Here's a link to what the two brothers website recommends for installation. Is that necessary?

They were claiming you could do that with any pipe if I remember right, even your stock one. I read it back when I had my stock pipe but never did it. I think I'd wait for some outside validation before trusting that, but that's just me.
I have a D&D slip-on. All you do is remove 3 bolts and slide the canister out. It takes just a minute or two. There is no welding and I don't remember ever seeing a baffle or anything. My D&D sounds good, but it could be deeper and smoother. I had a Yosh race only slip on before and I thought the D&D sounded a lot better. I heard an '01 6R with a Micron and a jet kit and it sounded sweet, but nothing else in our years(95-97).

Hey Red I just noticed that you said you have a custom fender kit on your bike. Can you tell me a little bit more about that. If you have a pic that would be great. Thanks
