I was thinking about getting a Two Brothers carbon fiber slip on and according to some people they say that "Rejetting is not required." Is this true? Also I would like to know what kind of slip on problems or success storys people had. Thanks <img src=icon_smile_evil.gif border=0 align=middle>

Generally, rejetting is only required for full exhaust systems. Check the manufacturers recomendations. You might look into a bolt-on instead of a slip-on. It'll bolt in place of the stock can and there won't be any springs to mess with.

I have a Yosh RS-3 bolt on and did NOT re-jet. It ran fine but I did notice it ran smother after getting a K&N instead of stock air filter.

It's days like this I wish I still did drugs!

You DONT have to rejet your bike after a slipon and k&n BUT if you rejet it you GAIN performance, but you dont have to rejet it.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm gonna look into getting a slip on and a new air filter. It might be a while but when i do get it I'll let you know how it turns out.

Parts411.com has the K&N filter for the ZX-6R for $48.34 if that helps....

I bought my first bike, 2002 Yellow/Black ZX-6R, in May of this year. I've gotten tons of great information from this site and it's members. ZX-6R.com rocks!
