i just recently purchase a d&d slip on for an 02.. my question is do i have to reject the damn thing? i ask this because i feel like a lot air is coming out the slip on.. when i accelarate sometimes it feels kinda flat, no what i mean. i cant really explain. i check the slip on and all the bolts are in right tyght. maybe sincec is a new sound im kind

A BOLT on shouldn't create any noticable flat spots on a bike (the '02) that already had a VERY linear power delivery. I suspect if anything it's just enhancing the bike's ability to rev and it's something you're just finding "different"... I actually had the same bolt on D&D on my '98... rejetting shouldn't be NECESSARY, but it certainly wouldn't do HARM either... you have any connections to a dyno operator? You can learn a lot from a few dyno runs...
