My throttle has a bit of slop in it. You can turn it a quarter inch or so and it is just loose play. Is there a way to adjust this? I want it so as soon as I blip the throttle, there is a response.

thewhitmores,
I would consider the handlebar adjustment as a temporary adjustment only. When you get a chance move the adjustment all the way back in at the bar and take up the slack under the tank as swjohnsey points out. When the handlebar adjuster is used or adjusted outward, it becomes very fragile. When it's screwed all the way in, the knurled locking wheel provides a much broader base and will last forever.
