Yeah I know what you mean it seems that mine has been getting better and better lately. I've noticed the exhaust tone, over all power, and ease of shifting are all better now then when I first got it.

You don't have to be faster then the bear, just faster then your friend.

My buddies have said that my exhaust sounds good and is loud for a stock pipe. In fact, they have tried to steer me away from changing it to an after market can. And we are talking about the tear your motor apart and modify it to the hilt types. They actually mistaked me for one of our buddies that has a CBR900RR with a Two Bros when they heard me coming down the road. They alos said the shiny chrome stainless steel looks really goood for a stock can. I am sure that I will be putting a DandD can on eventually though.

You've just burned out some of the packing insulation which in turn gives you a much throatier sound. I have noticed it on my Yoshimura pipe and damn does it sound good. I get chills down my back thinking about how good that bike sounds.

My biker buddies that I ride with have told me my exhaust has gotten much louder then when I first got it. I listened to it and I really agree. I have about 3,500 Miles on it now. I think it got louder at between 2,000-3,000. It's louder and much more gruntyer now. I remember thinking it was way to quiet when I first got it. It must be because the engine is completely broken in now.
I can't beleive I'm actually happy with the sound from a stock exhaust!
Almost hate to replace it.
And NO, there are no exhaust leaks!

Thank God for Guardian Angels... Especially This One!
