The speedo on my new '03 is off about 5mph...any one else notice this ??

All speedo's will say you are going a little faster then you are, especially at higher speeds.

At indicated speed of 40 (speedo) road side radar unit said 35...also on the freeway at 75 mph I am being passed on both sides on me...which says that I am not going 75 maybe 70 or 65 or so...judging by how fast I am passed. On my Yamaha I was about 8-10 mph at higher speeds

It should not be off by that much...
I'd have someone pace you, either in a car or another bike.

Go 50mph on your speedo, and have them match your speed. Then you can find out what their speedo said.

Do it at a couple different speeds.

If it is off, have the dealer look at it, cause that's not good

I had to do this in my TransAM after I changed the wheel size...
