Its all off the speed sensor, you know that little black plug with wire off the front sprocket cover.... I just spliced the yellow box in to fix my error for sprocket changes.

So far so good.... The price is definately hight unless you find it on Ebay or in group buy from other forums. I bought mine from Schnitz Racing because they are local to me. I checked mine against my car odometer and mile marker distances. Don't know anyone with GPS.
