what will just a -1 tooth front sproket do?
Instead of having a plus tooth in the rear. I know adding teeth in back will add bottom end, but it will be screaming when you just wanna cruise at high speeds. Whats the solution?

going down one tooth in the front is like going 3 up in the rear. It will add more low end torque and power, but you will lose top end...not by much, but you can lose some top end. Also, the bike will tach out a bit quicker than it normally would.

I dropped 1 tooth in the front and it was good. Bottom end was improved and there was no noticable degredation of top-end or high speed riding.

I went up 5 in the rear, but if I had it to do over again, I'd only do 3. The bike wheelies much easier, but the first 2 gears top out too soon....
