My dealer tells me it is normal for Kawasaki's to get condensation on the spyglass due to the kind of oil in the crank-case. Does anyone have a fix for this? Different oil? Anything?
In cool damp weather moisture will condense inside the engine and collect in the oil. It makes that white stuff visible in the sight glass. If you get the engine to operating temperature for a 20 minutes or so it will evaporate the moisture and accumulated gasoline from the oil.
It's NOT normal for Kawasakis. It does happen when your bike is an environs where it got warmer from a cold temperature. Like SWJ said, it's moisture condensing. Run your bike (ride it) for at least 20 minutes.
