Just to let you know that you need not pay out for an expensive race can. I have just recently pressed out the crap old internals from my g1 and replaced it with a staight through 65mm stainless perferrated tube and a c-flange to hold it in place at the cap end that has a v-shaped recess to create an extra cackle. It sounds fantastic, but best of all it's given me more mid-range and knocked a few kincks out of my dyno-chart, all it's cost me is £8.00 for a one size up-grade to my main jets as she was running a fraction lean in the last 1500 rev's up to the red-line.
