Hey guy's,

just a quick question, about how far can you go on a tank of gas for everyone? without hitting the reserve that is, and is there an idiot light thats supposed to come on?

I got 142.7 miles the other day, out of a tank, before it started sputtering.

i usually just fill up evrey 120 miles. it's about half a tank, unless i'm riding hard, then it's about 3/4 [8D]

The most I have gotten without hitting reserve was 157 miles. I was not hard on the gas, we were cruising in a mixed group (Harleys, Buells, etc...) I normally gas up around 120-130. Oh, I have an 02.

I only get appx. 100-100 miles before I need the reserve. I ride mostly city though, and I like to keep the rpm around 8-12K.

I usually get around 130 miles befor I have to hit reserve.

When mine hits 120, I just gas up. I don't wait for it to sputter than switch it to reserve. That shit happened to me on the highway. Ran out of gas in the On postition.

Typically 150 +/- 5. But I like to gas up before I have to switch, like a007sniper. I'm used to switching over while riding, so it's not that big of a deal, but it still sucks to hit reserve in the middle of a corner or on a freeway onramp.

I usually hit about 120 before filling up, depending on how hard I ride her. Made it to 140 before, but that was pretty lax riding time. Don't have a reserve switch on the 03. Just a light.
