A friend of mine used to do them. It's a good time to learn, because the roads are cold now, so it won't be too hard. You just basically lean forward while grabbing brake and rolling on the throttle. Keep one hand on the clutch though, in case things get out of hand. Just try to get your weight over the front of the bike, and only do short ones in the beginning to get used to it. You should get the hang of it pretty quick.
