I'm using a stock fairing stay my 96 zx6r and was wondering how to mount my sharkskinz race fairings with it. Is it supposed to look like the the tubes are sticking out of the fairing? In other words, am I supposed to drill holes in the corners of the upper fairing so that the holes/tubs in the fairing stay (where the mirrors are supposed to be go) so that the holes/tubes go through the fairing? Or is the fairing stay supposed to touch only the inside of the fairing? Sorry if it sounds confusing. I'll try to take pics to better explain it. Any suggestions or recommandations are appreciated. Thanks.
