Hi Guys, Looking to do a tire and chain kit swap for the first time, searched previos threads and and found some good tips, cracking spocket bolts first ect. the rear has come apart with little difficulty. The front however is putting up a fight. Before I force or strip something Im looking for some advise. I have two 12mm allen wrenches ready in each side of the axel, and Im assuming the left side of the axel backs off, turning in the same direction as a regulal thread.
Before I add some serios leverage, is this correct? or Does the axel simply slide out with a punch once the pinching bolts are loose? Turn in the other direction?

On my ZZR both sides are right hand thread. You lossen the pinch bolts and then turn the big allen on the right side counter clockwise to loosen it and then pull it out while suporting the wheel. My axle's torque spec is 92ftlbs. Don't forget to take the calipers off first! Hope this helps.

Thanks, now confident that i was going the right way, I added some leverage and broke it lose.
