I have a set of vortex lowering links coming for my 08 zx6r... cause im only 5/7

I have looked up and tried to research this the best I could but I just wanted your guys opinions.

From what I have read is that if you lower the bike equally in the front and the rear that this does not really change much as far as the feel of the suspension.

Im only planning to drop both the front and rear bout 1/2 inch.

I have read with the tapered front forks you can only lower it a maximum of 3/4 anway without a ship of some sorts....

I don't want to shave the seat because I like my seat position....

but I really like the performance of the bike and how it handels right now...

so I guess my main question is has anyone been able to lower there zx-6r and be able to still have there cake and eat it to when it comes to comfort/performance

I 5"7 too and have an' 07 ZX6R as well and I fit on the bike fine. If you lower it you will loose handling performance. Even if you do the front to match the rear it wont matter. When you lower the rear you are changing your swing arm angle. That affects handling and traction.
