I have a question in regards to suspension settings. I am 190 lbs. and was wondering what suspensions settings I should use, or should I just leave it at the stock settings. I am not very keen with suspension, so anything would help. Currently the settings are stock and I am not feeling any ill effects, but I am always looking to make the bike handle and perform to it's max.

The suspension settings that work well for one rider rarely suit another rider of different weight and riding style. Magazine-recommended settings are of particularly little use when rider weight is omitted.

If the adjusters are at the stock settings, you should first adjust the spring preload to achieve the proper sag. To learn how to measure sag, check out the article [Set-Up]: Suspension Made Easy? by 2WF.com or Measuring Static Sag by Sport Rider.
