Can swing arm exstensions be used on the strip??? some say yes and some say that it is not safe to do so? i would really like to know because i dont wanna spend 4k on a fat tire/ swingarm kit

had mine on for bout 3 years...no problems at all.....but I have seen some break.

I have them on my 10 and I keep bending the adjuster bolt on the sprocket side. The ones that break are the 6 to 9 in. Blocks. The six inch ones are fine.

Had mine for 4 years no problems just replace the adjuster bolts with a harder grade bolt

swingarm extensions?? Is this a cheaper route then getting an aftermarket extended swing arm or is that what u guys are talking about??

after market swingarm is different. extentions just bolt up to ur swingarm you have now. hella easy to put on.

a good metal fab shop can make you a swingarm, i know a guy thats made several with no issues, extentions work great also, i've neve seen one give. not even the turbo busa's running the strip here.

if you want to get a pair, go with a good company that KNOWS what abuse a drag bike takes. Mine are from Spencer Cycle, but Exotic Cycle would be the only other brand i would use. The ebay ones are cheaper and you may never have a problem, but the money saved wont be worth wrecking other stuff if they fail.
