does anyone know if a swingarm form a 99 will fit a 01? i checked buykawasaki.com and the first part numbers match up butt he last four are diffrent. does anyone know for sure if i can do a swap?

Yes it will, my 01 zx6r stuntbike in my sig has a 99 swingarm on it.
