Does anyone here use a tail-light integrator? If so did you make it yourself or buy it? I would like to set up something but don't know what path to choose. I heard that you can use trailer type setups like the ones you can et at Walmart, but I can't find the forum I saw that in. If you bought it are you happy with it? Where did u buy and how much $. Sorry for all the questions but your help would be appreciated. Thanks....for I am just a newbie.

check out this post:
I have one for sale right now. It's whole thing so you would have a spear that was never spliced.

My integrator came with my undertail kit.
Minytrker is right about getting a simple trailer convertor.

What Localbar is selling is this plus his old tailight lense for $50. which is probably a good deal for the person needing one.

Hey guys,
Got a quick question if ya'll don't mind ... Got a 2002 ZX6R a few months back (yellow of course! ;), and got some goodies for it today. Got some flush mount front signlas, and ran to Advance Auto and picked up a tailight converter after seein' this thread for $11. Anyway, got a couple quick questions on wiring it up correctly. Everything works fine except the rear lights don't flash when the hazards are on (fronts do, and the rears will when the brakes are applied...), and when I have the brakes on and turn on a flasher, they flash really quickly. When the bike is sititn' there, the back tail lights work, brake light works fine also. Then when i hit a flasher, they both work correctly until the brakes are applied, then they speed up and flash quickly, but the other side brake light works correctly. Not sure if that makes sense, just wondering if I need a heavier duty flasher relay (does one exist that will fit?), or if it's a wiring problem. Thanks in advance for the help, and hopin' to get some pics up soon.

To keep the turn signals from flashing fast with the brakes on you need to swap the flasher for a solid state one that you can get at Auto Zone or similar. I think the one we have has two terminals. It is probably safer to take the old one with you when you get the replacement.

Thanks for the fast reply... that's kinda what i was thinking i needed, but wasn't sure... I guess that with the light on there's just not enough resistance to keep it from going fast like that. Thanks for the help man, gonna track one down tomorrow...

My bike does the same thing it's a 2001 Yellow of course. I installed it and mine does the same. I'm told that if you change the blinker relay in the trunk you can make it flash the same all the time the only problem eith this is when you blow a bulb you won't know because it will still flash slow all the time. I guess if you leave it alone and you put your blinker on and don't touch the brakes and it flashes fast you know you have a light out or so I'm told. Hope this helps besides you don't need those hazard lights you are riding the best built 600 in it's class.

Ok, found a heavy duty relay at Autozone, an EL-12c 2 terminal flasher relay. Wired it up and smoothed out the bugs, all excpet the rear hazards only working when i apply the breaks, but other than that everything works great. Got the rear undertail area all cleaned up nice, decided to leave the full trunk area so i could atlease carry some extra gloves... <img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle> Anyway, thanks for the help, and for anybody thinking about doing this, I did find this site that was helpful, not sure if it's old news or not...

Did also get some new signals for the front, but ran out of time installing them and wanted to get the bike ridable for the week in case i can sneak some time in... Gonna post some pics when i get them on. Was wondering, is the only way to get to the front flashers to remove all the fairings? Ride safe.

I ended up going to Autozone for an Integrator this weekend and wired it up on Saturday. Oddly enough my hazzard lights seem to work well. I still need to get the relay. Thanks for the part #.
