How the hell do i get the lock barrel out of a tank cap assy ?

i have pulled it apart .. and i cant figure out how you get it out of the housing ? i need to put this lock barrel into a different cap as mine suffered some road rash in a crash at the track

any help would be awesome.

try putting the key in it when u try pulling it from the housing....

ok well i assume i just have to tap it out of the housing, from the underside out.. i dont wanna break it but i guess ill have to give it a go
