The good new is that it's a 2001 zx6 with a fresh 2007 zzr motor currently installed. The Bad in that it comes with title so no street action.....
The first order of business will be the fork rebuild and rear swap. I think of Race Tech and the Stock rear shock from the 08 ZX10. Replacing the rusted chain seem in order. From the look of the body I'll be replacing with race fairing.

Finially got a chance to peek at the bike .....

I'm trying to convince myself that with some work I can create something worth to taking to Jennings GP or Homestead later this year. Got it at a Damn good price, so with a little elbow grease I'll be able to get it into shape. Maybe it can surpass the pass:

Build update the Forks are off to get rebuilt and new oil and seals. The rear suspension will be upgraded to a 08 ZX10R Shock.

Is that your 10? If so, the front tire is on backwards....

LOL good eye it has been flipped. It's my 10... Mounted the 08 ZX10 shock to the Track project, Now the tires and the brakes will be next.

Will not the best of days for the build, The suspension guy is recommending that I replace both fork legs. The previous owner spray painted over top of the tubes but the left tube is trashed beyond repair. So I figure I'll take a few day to track down replacements, or a front end swap, or pick a different race bike platform. Not the News I was looking for, since the track day is just around the corner 6/25 at Jennings GP

The bike wasn't treated to the garaged live its going to have now, but so far I've

• swapped frames (rebuild able status )
• Replaced Forks
• Gotten Race Plastics
• Replace the Refactor

Things left to do:

1. install chain (Just a newer OEM for now)
2. Mock up a Fairing Stay
3. Install Rubber Front& Back
4. Steel Brake Lines
5. Set the SAG
6. Replace the Radiator

The bike has life..

The tires are on Q2s both front and Rear, Also the oil,oil filter, and i use water in the radiator instead of engine ICE, but I've got some work to do still. Today was a good day. Making progress....

brake fluid looks a lil icky but i think you said your replacing the lines soon so i guess it doesnt matter... how did you get that little ding in the frame?

The little ding in the frame looks like its from the bar ends. This frame is a purchased replacement. You're correct the brake lines will be changed and the fluid will be freshed up. But if any one has a decent front rim I'm in need of a replacement

A New Years update:

To Date I've completed the following:

• Replaced Brake Lines
• Replaced front calipers
• Flushed Brake Fluid
• Replaced Front Rim
• Mounted Dunlops Q2s
• Replaced Radiator
• Replaced both the voltage regulator and stator (charging issue)
• Swapped rear shock with the stock 08 ZX10 shock

Things remaining:

1. Replacement of the Rear wheel cush drive spacers
2. Fuel Filter replacement (Dealership quoted me $18 for a $4 part)
3. UK ECU
4. +4 ign Advance
5. 520 Conversion -1 +3

Not Much to Look that, but It a beeter platform than when I started: :buzzsaw:
