Hi all,
I finally got the bike back together. I had a delay because I had to order a plastic welder to repair the tabs on the headlight. Worked great, worth every penny. Hopefully it'll survive tomorrows track day. <img src=icon_smile_dead.gif border=0 align=middle>
Here's the pics....

Well, it made it through the track day unscathed. Very happy with its performance. I'm planning to make track days a regular event, so I'm going to have to do some more work on the bike.

What's that little thing that other dude is riding? Looks kinda funny. Where's the track at? Man I wish I had access to a track....but then again, maybe it's better I don't.

Slapshot:
The little bike in the picture is something like a TZ125. A little 2-stroke racebike. Pretty slow in the straights but really fast in the corners. I got passed by many a 2-stroke.

Rob:
This was my first track day. I'm not really sure what to report. The track is the Streets of Willow, at Willow Springs Raceway in Rosamond Ca. You all read about the track, every magazine uses it at some point in time, for cars and bikes. Anyhow, the weather was cool but not unbearable. The organizers of the trackday rocked. It's $99 for the day and includes breakfast, lunch and a t-shirt. If anyone lives in the neighborhood and wants to go in Feb, email me. If there are any questions I can answer, let me know.
