Cows all in the road? What happened to the people who were leading the group? Why didn't the other riders signal back that there's something to be wary of up ahead?

If she was the lead rider, that's one thing, but it doesn't sound like that was the case.

It does sound like she was well loved and respected by many. I hope she does well in her next life, and rides again.

I don't think anyone thinks a helmet keeps you safe on a motorcycle. I think most people know that a helmet keeps you safer than you were without one.

It's sad that someone seemingly so nice had to die. But if I had to go I'd at least rather it be quick and doing something I love.

killed by a cow that sucks i just seen a dude take a truck head on at palomar mt. last weekend did not even get a scratch...just goes to show you when it's your time it's your time.....

Didn't know her at all, she was just part of the sportbike group here. And yes, I think that people do believe that a helmet will keep them safe in such a little get off. It has never crossed *my* mind that anyone could be killed by so little.
