I am about to tighten my chain and can't remember what size the cotter keyed nut is. I don't have the right size socket and need to get one.

theres one in your tools under the seat, if u dont still have that one, i cant remember off the top of my head what size it is....

Is there a DIY anywhere on how to adjust your chain properly? I haven't done it on my bike and I have no clue how to do it. so what's the procedure and what are the specs I need to know to pull this off? thanks.

well when i did mine i just took of the nut and pulled the tire back makeing equal amout turns to each adjuster nut on each side...and cheaked by measuring everything with the little notchs on the swing arm. and tightened eveything down. and cheaked the mmeasurements agian after you tighten it down that the tire dosnt throw itself out of wack

It's a pretty simple DIY, your owners manual tells you how to do it. But then again it says if you don't have a torque wrench to take it to a dealer, ha.
