To answer your question, Yes I believe that you can. I think you're bike probably came from the factory with a 180 rear tire. The rim sizes are the same from 98-02 so I don't see why you couldn't fit that tire on there.



Life is short, but sweet for certain...

Actually, what I quoted was the stock tires that came on the bike for 98-99. The tires I want to put on are the stock sizes for 00-03. :)

I have a '99 ZX6-R with 120/60-17 & 170/60-17. Can I change to 120/65-17 & 180/55-17 using stock rims without any problems?

just becareful, it might change the handling alittle bit...so take you time getting use to it.....
