It's my fisrt posting in this forum, but for the past few days I am getting pretty obsessed with the options I have on getting a new bike!
To give you all a bit background history, I had a ZX6R Y2K model for 1 year and was very very happy about it (done 30k km,also added to it a full Akrapovic system,carbon rear fender and undertail, slim turning signals, leather bagster). Then the supermotard madness hit me and I exchanged it for a KTM LC4 Supermotard. I had a lot of crashes (thankfully not one being serious) with the LC4 so I sold it back. Now the option:
The shop that I had exchanged my ZX6R for the LC4, now has my Zx6R again on sale since the owner wants an on-off bike and not a supersports one. Which means I can get my old bike back (with a few extra money which I already have available) or wait for one year, get some (considerably) more money on the side and buy an '03 636.
What do you guys think ?
From one side I have my own bike back (with 10k more km's) which is already setup to my taste (power, sound and looks) and I can have it tomorrow and from the other side by being patient for one year I can get a new 636. What would you do in my case ?
