It is 22mm Just get an axle nut tool from motion pro. It has four sizes on it 17,19,22, and 24mm. and is a 3/8 square drive on both ends. It should run you about $28.

I was in a crunch when I did mine, so I bought a bolt, two nuts, and one locking nut, all 22mm, tightened the nuts and locking nut on the bolt, then used that as a make-shift axle tool. Also, you can use a 22mm Craftsman spark plug socket with, I believe, a 1/2" drive torque wrench...I'm pretty sure it's 1/2"...that's probably the cheapest and easiest way to do it. Or get the axle tool. You won't be able to find a 22mm allen wrench. Trust me.
