I'm thinking of upgrading to the zx10r within the week. can anyone tell me if there are any knowen issues reguarding parts failures, not talkin about normal wear and tear but likes and dislikes about the quality of the workmanship. I'm not looking for opinions on looks just wondering if the bikes are holding up well through whatever task is given to them.

no problems really, 04's had some generator failures but there shouldnt be any more 04's with that problem and the fixed it for 05. 06's none so far....
