Well, after struggling to get the midpipe onto the collector, I finally realized I should remove the rearset and that black plate around it. Then it slipped right in. When I started it up, I felt a leak around that midpipe and collector joint. I followed the Two Bros. install instructions and removed the stock gasket and placed a bead of silicone around it before putting them together.

Anyone else have this problem? Did you reuse the stock gasket at the collector joint? Maybe I just have to remove it and try again (was pretty frustrated with it and it got late). I'll check it again tomorrow. :(

I almost stripped it (couldn't get a straight shot on it with the allen). I finally put just the tip of the allen in and banged it with a hammer a few times before putting the ratchet on. I got it off without stripping it but I almost just drilled the damn thing out!

C'mon guys - hundreds installed this slip-on...what did you do? It would be nice if the damn header didn't have slits on it...

im in the same boat right now, i got it all together and the imfamous hole on the mid pipe didnt line up for me either.
i got it all together and fired it up and noticed a pretty major exhaust leak from the collector. i did remove the rearset and that access
plate but still had a bitch of a time. im gonna tackle it again right now with hope that i can seal it up. bump for another leaky collector!

Honestly, the instructions that comes with the 2bros is so clear and well explained, if you fucked it up you must be a retard not so mechanically minded person...no fault of 2bros anyway :D

The instructions do not mention removing the black panel that covers the swingarm cutout.
I had a very hard time getting that panel's bolts out (after I realized that it had to come off).
