So I got the LP Type V's last night and installed them, first, that install is a pain in the royal butt, to get the front fairing off is like begging an ex-GF for a quickie..she just doesn't wanna come!...but anyway

The light doesn't quite fit how I thought it would, it is a little too long, and there is space between the top and bottom of the light and the fairing, I'll take some pics if need be, but has anyone else had this problem?

Do a search thew truth is out there (on this board). Just make a backing plate that covers the hold out of some thin material. You won;t even know it's there if you take your time and do it right.

No need to panic, they work great IMO. Just figure on doing a little more then peeling off the doble sided tape and slapping them on.
