hey
been seeing a heap of those stickers around that say "life begins at 200km/h" would like to get one on my bike, but 200's a bit slow for a bike really. so i thought get one that says "life begins at 300km/h" (on the back of my helmet or something) but im not a poser would rather say ive been there done that then just pretend.
However been seeing lots lately about bikes that have blown tyres at 300km/h plus. someone posted something about a guy who's tyre blew at 300 + and saw somehting on the races at phillip island about a guys tyre which blew at more than 300km/h. does it happen all the time or whats the go. is there some physical limit i dont know about or what am i going to kill myself trying or what.

The tires that are blowing at 300km/h are on race bikes. Those tires take a lot of abuse, and that causes them to fail, its not just the going 300km/h part.

Now your bike is not capable of going 300km/h anyway, a stock 600 will only go about 260km/h. Even something like a ZX12R just hits 300 (well 299 actually).

To even get a 600 upto that speed you would need to get a smaller rear sprocket, much smaller (or a bigger front one)

And lastly, going 300km/h on the street is a dumb idea.. If you can find a racetrack that has a long enough straight away, more power to you, but not a good idea on the street.
