I was in the same delema as you. I have a 99' that i have owned since it was new and was really tore between keeping it or trading in for the 636.

So one day I said f**k it and bought the 636 and just kept my 99(since it is paid for). Let me tell you that you won't regret it a bit. The 636 is a MONSTER compared to the 99. Don't get me wrong, I kept my 99 cause I love it. It was my first street bike so it's kinda like your first child. The 636 is lighter, more powerful, handles better and is one sexy mother f**ker! To give you an idea, my good friend drives a 2002 ZX9R and my 636 will keep up with him on the straights and blow him away in the twisties.

No his zx9 is all stock. Maybe thats why, but I was really dissapointed with the zx9! I thought it would have more balls than it did!
