V&H S4???

Good to know. I wasn't sure why the flange with the allen bolts was there, but after looking at a few bikes on bikepics.com, I saw that the stock muffler just bolted on there! I guess the V&H exhaust is just a bit shorter, so that it looks like that the flange is an aftermarket thing...

I just bought a 98 '6R, and it came with a Vance & Hines S4 Stainless exhaust.

My question is which one do I have... I'm sorry, my digital camera is broken, but I'll do my best to describe it.

The tip only has one circle, not the newer two circle thing (if you understand what I'm saying!!!). After the muffler (moving toward the header) there is a ring with three allen bolts that the exhaust bolts onto. Then it's quite a big stainless pipe to the header, which I do not know if is aftermarket or not. How would I tell if the headers are aftermarket, and how to I tell what system I have?
