Valve Inspection RIP OFF

Friend of mine just had his 12000K (7500mi) service. Had to have 12 shims replaced (BAD, but thats another story). My question to you guys is -: How many hours did you get charged for this service? Remember it's important to specify if you were charged for checking the valves or ADJUSTING (ie camshafts out). I'm not interested in the cost (this will vary from country to dealer) just the hours.

Hmmmm.....well, according to the Kawasaki Flat rate manual....3.4 hours....is what Kawasaki lets the dealers charge on warranty work based stuff.....real world.....2-4 hours.....as you said, depending on adjusting or checking.....
