k lets get this straight. u beat a viper.....? somehow i have a hard time believing that. a 6r with roughly 110 hp vs a 500hp viper. the only way i see it happening is if the other guy didn't know what he was doing. viper has more top end so it would beat a ninja there but off the line a ninja would accelerate better.

Acutally.... You can beat a viper w/ your 636. The second day I had my kawi I was just crusin along... not trying to get to far from the break in rpms. Then I turn onto a side rode and low and behold, there was this beautiful BRAND NEW 03 Viper R/T 10. He didnt even have plates yet like me So I toy w/ him for a couple of minutes, riding all around his car just to look at it. Then we give each other "the look", you know that one look you give that guy your sitting next to at the stop sign, the lets do this look. So we both hit it from a stop light and i took him off line, not by much but i didnt lauch at my peak either. We hit around 120 before we slowed down. I waited for him to catch back up.. which didnt take long. He was givin me mad props b/c he thought he had me for sure. He tried a few more time at a 40 mile roll on but was never successful, and trust me... he was trying, he was really on it. We pulled over and talked for a few min too. He was only 23... lucky bastard. Ok well thats my first post. Take it easy guys.

I just recently got my 636 on tuesday, it's my second bike. I was at a light yesterday and this guy in his accord pulls next to me and he starts revving his engine. So I teached him a lesson, his car was nice, had nice mods and stuff but he didn't even catch me, when I looked on my mirror I could see him far away. I didn't even go that fast. I slowed down so that he could catch up with me and when he did he didn't even look at me. I think I hurt his feelings, oh well maybe next time he'll think twice when he sees a bike on the road. His girl was looking at me as welltoo bad my other helmet was in the hands of my soon-to-be girlfriend.
