I have a 2006 ZX6RR and just wanted to know what happens if you ride in the rain. How is water kept from entering the engine through the injectors? Does anyone know the answer for this? You would think alot of water would enter the intake due to the location of the ram-air intake.....any ideas?

I'm pretty sure it comes in, then down as it goes back, then back up and through the filter before going down into the motor. I'm talking the intake duct path. And there is a drain tube that lets water, etc leak down by your left foot into a catch bottle.

Well for excess water there should be a drain for the airbox that usually goes into a clear bottle near your shifter.. Other than that the bike will burn any water that enters the intake.. I wouldnt worry about it too much though, i've ridden in some nasty shit and never had much water enter the intake (gauged by how much was in the bottle)
