What's done and what is supposed to be done are two different things.
Here's what supposed to be done:

-Throttle inspection/adjusting
-Idle speed check
-Emissions system check
-Cooling system inspection (pressure test)
-Clutch adjustment
-Oil & filter change
-Chain: adjust slack and lube
-Brakes: light switch operation & fluid level
-Steering head adjustment
-"nuts, bolts, and fasterers tightness - inspect"

This comes out of the service manual itself. Most of this is simple enough that you can do it on your own and it's outlined how to check and do yourself in your owners manual. If you're mechanically adept and have some basic metric tools buy yourself a service manual, about $50 and do it yourself. :)
