We get to choose between 95 and 98, so I use 95. But someone said there are different systems for octane ratings and that they don't neccesarily compare? Dunno. Maybe someone could put a link or explain the different systems if there is indeed separate methods in use.
I heard Sunoco 94 was bad because of the ethanol rating or something. I think there was a thread on here a long time ago, maybe like 6 or 8 months ago, that said it was only meant for cars, and fouls up bike motors.
Hey NinjaRider, I've heard similar things... From the guys at NRC (Our local Kawasaki dealer) and from Mike636's & GreenEnvy's buddy Tom ...the guy with the Hayden replica (http://kawiforums.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=10986), who also used to be a mechanic... So I believe it's on good authority! [8D]
Anyways, I usually run Pioneer Magnum 93 on their advise.
