A stand that lifts at the forks is a bit quicker, and is handy if you use tire warmers between sessions at the track.

A stand that lifts at the steering stem allows you to remove the forks. You can also use it to change the front ride height by raising or lowering the forks in the triple clamps, or to measure the extended fork length when setting sag.

Pit Bull's New Front Stand is the way to roll. You can move your forks up and down, or take them off for that matter as well as remove the wheel and related components. So long as you're not taking off the bottom triple clamp, you won't need anything else. Just be sure you ask for the #2 pin when ordering.;)
