I always use Sunnoco gas, but my dealer advised me not to use the Ultra94 because it has a higher alcohol content in it (I think upto 10 or 15%) which bike engines dont like.
I ran Ultra94 in my TransAM all the time.
So I use their 92 octane in the bike.
Do not use ESSO, they are the dirtiest gas of the big gas companies (might be called imperial oil in the US, not sure)
Just a general question. I was told by a few people not to use sunoco fuel in the bike??? I have a 00' ZX6-R stage 1 jet kit and muzzys full exhaust. I have been using HESS fuel right now, I would like to use Sunoco since they provide a higher octane rating there. I live in PA so if anyone can suggest a better place to get fuel, or that they do use sunoco then i will do that. Thanks in advance.
I'm in PA also and use Sunoco 93 all the time. I especially try to go on Tuesdays because the Sunoco shop in town has 93 for 6 cents off every Tuesday!
Sunoco 94 is all I use. The higher octane has a higher ignition point, meaning that it will not pre-detonate from the compression alone. I trust it the most because of the rpm's that these bikes will hit.
